Following comprehensive assessment, any binocular vision anomalies such as reduced focusing or convergence ability is managed using a structured set of orthoptic exercises.

Regular reviews are scheduled to determine progress and any modifications to the treatment plan can implemented at this stage. The effects of colour on reading speed, fluency and visual comfort is typically reserved until binocular vision status is stable.

We have been successfully utilising the ReadEZ colorimetry software suite designed and developed by Professor David Thomson since 2014. If colour does show clinically significant improvements, a variety of options exist from coloured overlays to custom colour prescription spectacle lenses.
